Very impressed with this book, didn't know what to expect but was completely hooked by the characters and the great detail put into setting the scenes. Upon activation, a beherit rearranges its facial features, forming a distressed face which sheds tears of blood and emits a low scream before creating a temporal junction. We are all entitled to our opinions, but to throw anything at anyone, let alone at our King, is just not on.

This is the stuff of good story writing: an ordinary man gets caught up in a web of intrigue and criminal activity and we are his invisible companions on the sidelines while he journeys into adventure, never quite knowing how things are going to turn out at the end. Put the hot egg on the slice of toast – so it starts to melt the butter – and then sprinkle over the House Blend. And yes, main character is male but heavily dependent on female assistance in finally disentangling this intricate web.However, when the police officer who arrested Thelwell was asked in court, he said he did not remember this.
